This is a roof Expansion. We followed the flow and design of the tiles and developed an organic extension, also building support beams and concrete flooring.
Here we turned a basement into a relaxing and rustic bar area. We updated the stairs, completely ripping them out and putting in concrete and wood designs. The basement floor was stripped and laid with a nice polished green concrete, it looks acidic. We have used all sorts of colors before, including blue concrete that makes the floor look like water. We think the green came out amazing, and the client was overwhelmingly happy!
After the stairs and floors, we creating an atmosphere with lighting, and designed the bar area to fit the theme of the stairs. As you can see, planks of wood surround the mirrors behind the bar, and the bar itself is more polished concrete, with a concrete and stone structure.
To open up the kitchen and give the home a more welcoming atmosphere, we removed part of the wall and expanded the counter space. Now there is more room to cook and provides a space for people to sit down and enjoy a quick meal. Marble counter tops can be pretty expensive, and while they traditionally look nice, we find polished/stained concrete to be the perfect alternative. Not only does it look clean and sleek, its durable, and doesn't need a lot of maintenance. New shelves were painted and installed. We also changed the lighting, instead of just ceiling lights, adding drop dow, low voltage, bulbs at the bar provides low-light vision while not being intrusive.

We created a backyard living area that says "Summer never ends." An in-ground pool with accompanying Hot tub above the survive that flows into the pool. Stone and concrete walkways provide a path to a custom built Cover Area. Inside this relaxing piece of shade houses some couches, chairs, and even a stone fireplace and a couple of fridges. Not only that, a door leads to a small room where pool toys and tools can be stored away safely.
